Birmingham Coffee Collective
We're a laid-back crew of coffee lovers, brunch enthusiasts, and good conversation seekers. Every month we pick a different spot across Birmingham — from tucked-away independents to beloved staples — and just show up, order something good, and talk. No agenda, no pressure. Whether you're new to the city or just looking for a regular social, this is the place. We've been running since 2023 and have visited over 30 venues across Brum. All halal, obviously.
Birmingham · Every Friday
Brum Board Gamers
From Catan to Codenames, FIFA to Uno — we do it all. We meet weekly at rotating venues around Birmingham, including some of the best board game bars in the city. It's a mixed crowd: absolute beginners, competitive veterans, and everyone in between. Halal snacks always welcome. We also run seasonal tournaments with proper brackets and prizes. No experience needed — if you can count, you can play.

Muslim Tech Network Birmingham
A professional community for Muslims working in or building towards careers in tech across the Midlands. We run monthly events — networking nights, founder showcases, career panels, and informal coffee chats. Members range from junior devs and bootcamp grads to senior engineers and startup founders. We believe representation matters and that building in community is better than building alone. Approval required to keep the quality of conversation high.

Active Brothers Birmingham
A brothers-only fitness and sports collective in Birmingham. We run, lift, boulder, swim, and play football together — the goal is consistent movement with consistent company. Sunday mornings are our main slot but we fit in extra sessions mid-week when enough people are keen. All fitness levels welcome. We've had members go from couch to 10K in a few months. Come as you are, stay for the community.

Weekend Hikers Brum
We explore the hills, trails, and countryside surrounding Birmingham — from the Clent Hills to the Malverns, Cannock Chase to the Peak District. Routes range from easy 3-mile strolls to full-day 12-mile walks. We go bi-weekly and always share the route and difficulty rating in advance. Dog-friendly, bring-a-flask energy. The group has grown from 8 regulars to over 50 members since we started and we're not stopping.

Brum City Explorers
Birmingham is underrated and we're on a mission to prove it. Every month we pick a neighbourhood, market, building, or theme and explore it together. We've done the Jewellery Quarter at night, the canal network by foot, street art in Digbeth, and the full length of the Balti Triangle. Equal parts history, food, and random discoveries. Open to everyone — newcomers especially welcome because fresh eyes see the best things.

Brum Sisters Social
A sisters-only space built on the simple idea that good company makes everything better. We gather fortnightly for brunches, seasonal events, Ramadan iftars, Eid celebrations, and the occasional wellness session. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and deliberately low-pressure. No cliques, no dress code, no expectations beyond showing up and being yourself. We've hosted over 40 events and counting. If you're looking for your people in Birmingham, this is it.
Birmingham · Every Wednesday
Brum Esports Club
Competitive gaming in a halal, friendly environment. We play FIFA, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Valorant, and more — both online and in-person at our Wednesday night sessions. Console and PC both welcome. We run ranked leagues, casual lobbies, and occasional IRL LAN setups. If you're tired of toxic gaming spaces, this is the alternative. Good games, good banter, good people.

Midlands Muslim Entrepreneurs
A curated network for Muslim business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs across the Midlands. We believe Muslim entrepreneurship deserves its own ecosystem — mentors, investors, customers, and peers who understand the values you're building from. Monthly roundtables bring together 20–50 members to share challenges, celebrate wins, and make real connections. We've helped members land their first clients, raise funding, and hire from within the community. Approval required.
Birmingham · Every Sunday
Fitness Sisters Birmingham
Sisters-only fitness — outdoor workouts, park runs, bouldering, swimming, and HIIT sessions in spaces where you're comfortable. We've worked hard to find venues and time slots that work for Muslim women and we don't compromise on that. All fitness levels genuinely welcome — we've had members who'd never exercised before become regular attendees. Our coaches are qualified, our sessions are varied, and the support within the group is something you have to experience to understand.
Birmingham · Every Sunday
Lickey Hills Ramblers
Gentle to moderate walks in and around the Lickey Hills, Waseley Hills, and neighbouring countryside. We're a smaller, more intimate group — usually 10–20 per walk — which means proper conversations and no one getting left behind. Dog-friendly, all abilities welcome, under-18s fine with an adult. We share detailed route cards before each walk. Post-walk tea at the visitor centre is a tradition. Join us any Sunday and you'll be back the week after.

Brum Food Explorers
Birmingham has one of the most underrated food scenes in the UK and we exist to prove it. Bi-weekly outings to halal restaurants, street food markets, pop-ups, and hidden gems across the city. We've done the full Balti Triangle, Digbeth Dining Club, Stirchley, Harborne, and Moseley. We also run themed food tours — Pakistani street food, West African cuisine, Levantine feasts. Every outing is a proper discovery. The only rule: come hungry.
